Since 1992 AC Hydraulics have applied Vega hydraulic cylinders not only in the plastic moulding industry but for special purpose machines and applications. The success of Vega is due to the special materials enabling proximty switches that mount on the cylinder for multi-position sensing. These switches are adjustable along the stroke of the cylinder and are robust and reliable to withstand the harsh environment of mouldshops. The range incorporates block and tie cylinder ranges, higher temperature and pressure ranges, and a self locking rod cylinder. Vega V160C hydraulic cylinder
GENERAL FEATURES: Hydraulic cylinders with tie-rods according to ISO 6020/2 Compact standards (the test of single dimensions is up to the customer).They are especially reliable and the standards are widely spread internationally, allowing for the interchangeability with cylinders of many different trademarks.They are also extremely versatile thanks to the wide range of dimensions (bores and rods) and the mounting style. Up to Ø100 they can be fitted with adjustable end stroke switches.If no special performance in terms of speed, pressure or temperature is required, they provide the best quality-price ratio. Available bore range: from 25 to 200 mm. (max. 100 in case of magnetic version) Rod diameter: 2 alternatives for each bore. From 12 to 140 mm. (see cat. page B/5). Stroke range: from 20 mm. to 1500 mm. according to the bore (see cat. page B/5). Accessories available on request: magnetic switches, cushioning, passing rod. Vega V220CBL hydraulic cylinder
GENERAL FEATURES Compact hydraulic cylinders with double effect. They provide the "long stroke" version of the V250CBM. With a slightly higher space need they give the chance to obtain special strokes up to 500 mm.They are light, versatile and reliable. Ideal for plastic injection moulds. They can be fitted with adjustable magnetic end stroke switches. Available bore range: from 32 to 100 mm. Rod diameter: from 18 to 45 mm. according to the bore (see cat. page C/5). Stroke range: from 60 to 200/500 mm. according to the bore (see cat. page C/5). Accessories available on request: magnetic switches, special oil delivery, rod accessories, hydraulic cooling system, passing rod. Vega V230T hydraulic cylinder
GENERAL FEATURES Cylinders with tie-rods, providing an alternative to the V160C series in case of use with high pressures and temperatures. They are extremely reliable and sturdy.They can be fitted with adjustable magnetic end stroke switches. Ideal with die-cast moulds. Available bore range: from 32 to 160 mm. Rod diameter: 2 alternatives for Ø32 and Ø40, 3 alternatives for the remaining bores. From 14 to 110 mm. (see cat. page I/5). Stroke range: from 20 to 1500 mm. according to the bore (see cat. page I/5). Accessories available on request: magnetic switches, cushioning. Vega V250CBM hydraulic cylinder
GENERAL FEATURES Short stroke hydraulic cylinders with double effect. They provide the best bore+stroke ratio and dimensions for the strokes up to 50 mm.They are light, versatile and reliable. Ideal for plastic injection moulds. They can be fitted with adjustable magnetic end stroke switches. Available bore range: from 25 to 100 mm. Rod diameter: from 18 to 45 mm. according to the bore (see cat. page E/5). Stroke range: 20 and 50 mm. Accessories available on request: magnetic switches, special oil delivery, rod accessories, isolating plates for high temperature. Vega V260LK hydraulic locking cylinder
GENERAL FEATURES Double effect hydraulic cylinders with mechanical piston-locking in the end stroke position (extended rod). This system allows a remarkable increase in the staticsealing force in the end stroke position and is especially suited for use on punches for moulds with a large surface coming in contact with the injected plastics frontally. They must always work in the end stroke position and are not suited for use with die-cast molds because of their reduced traction force and delicate structure. Available bore range: from 24 to 84 mm. Possibly from 7 to 70 Ton. Rod diameter: from 16 to 60 mm. according to the bore (see cat. page F/5). Stroke range: two alternatives according to the bore from 10 to 100 mm. (see cat. page F/5). Special strokes available. Accessories available on request: inductive switches, fixing flange, rod anti-torque clamps, elastic safety ring. Vega V350CBR hydraulic cylinder
GENERAL FEATURES Short stroke hydraulic cylinders with double effect and high pressures. It’s the alternative of the V450CBX with the passing rod for the operation of back mechanical micro switches, available on request in two different versions.They are extremely compact and sturdy. Ideal for any use, especially on die-cast moulds or in any other hard-working condition. Available bore range: from 32 to 100 mm. Rod diameter: from 22 to 45 mm. according to the bore (see cat. page N/5). Stroke range: 30 and 50 mm. Accessories available on request: integrated back-positioned mechanical micro switches in two versions, special oil delivery, rod accessories, applicable flange (from Ø40 mm. onwards). Vega V400CI hydraulic integrated cylinders
GENERAL FEATURES Short stroke integrated hydraulic cylinders with double effect and high pressures. It’s the most extreme example of compactness: we provide rod, piston, cartridge and seals; you get the -chamber- in the mold. The components are those used for the V450CBX, which prove extremely sturdy. Available bore range: from 16 to 100 mm. Rod diameter: from 10 to 45 mm. according to the bore (see cat. page L4). Stroke range: two or three alternatives according to the bore from 10 to 100 mm. (see cat. page L/4). Accessories available on request: rod accessories. It’s the heavy series of the short stroke cylinders, as an alternative to the V250CBM.They are extremely compact and sturdy. Ideal for any use, especially on die-cast moulds or in any other hard-working condition. They can be fittedwith integrated and adjustable mechanical micro switches Available bore range: from 16 to 100 mm. Rod diameter: from 10 to 45 mm. according to the bore (see cat. page M/5). Stroke range: two or three alternatives according to the bore from 10 to 100 mm. (see cat. page M/5).
